CNC Machinist

Job Type: Full time Shift: 8 hours/day, Monday-Friday, Overtime Salary: $24 - $28 per hour Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent with experience as noted in job posting below. Candidate must be VERY experienced in CNC lathe and mill set up and operation, relative to milling of various metals such as various stainless, tool steels, bronze, carbon steel and aluminum. We are looking for CNC machinists (capable of sets ups and basic G code programming/editing), not operators. Also we do not work with wood, so cabinetry and CNC router experience does not qualify. Must be self starter, proficient in reading drawings and blue prints, excellent attention to detail, as well as capable of following stringent directions. We are a job shop, and tend to be required to provide a quick turnaround for our customers. As a candidate, you MUST be comfortable in performing your own set ups, proving simple programs, and editing as needed. If you are familiar with programming in BobCAD or Esprit, there is additional opportunity and compensation as well. Should have basic CNC machinist tools. This would be for primarily Fanuc controlled CNC vertical machining centers. Experience with Mori Lathes, Haas and Hurco mills is helpful as well. We do a lot of conventional machining (so you may also be required to work within your abilities there on occasion), but have seen our CNC department growing exponentially, and very rapidly, so we do not have the time to train from the bottom up, and instead, we are looking for a confident and responsible self starter to fill the position. Conventional Machinist

Job Type: Full time Shift: 8 hours/day, Monday-Friday, Overtime Salary: $27 - $30 per hour Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent with experience as noted in job posting below. We are currently looking for a top notch Tool & Die/Journeyman type CONVENTIONAL/MANUAL machinist in N. Las Vegas area. Extensive lathe experience preferred. Please be ready to "hit the ground running". If you've not been working in the machining industry recently, this would not be a good fit. Must be self starter, proficient in reading drawings and blue prints, excellent attention to detail, as well as capable of following stringent directions. We are a job shop, and tend to be required to provide a quick turnaround for our customers. May include full manufacture, quick modifications, and simple to complex repairs. Must be VERY experienced in manual machining, especially lathe. You will be working with carbon steels, aluminum, stainless, bronze, etc. Parts can be as small as 1/4" diameter, but more commonly upwards of 2"-40" diameter. Must have own machinist tools. Tool & Die experience is extremely helpful. Position requires use of conventional lathes, mills, band saws, surface grinding, drill presses, hydraulic presses, etc. Welding ability also a plus, but not required. Benefits available after probationary period, including profit share program. Wages commensurate on experience. 3-4 years minimum experience required.

Quality Control Inspector

Job Type: Full time Shift: 8 hours/day, Monday-Friday, Overtime Salary: $22 - $24 per hour Qualifications: Quality Control: 2 years (preferred) Seeking experienced Quality Control Inspector for Manufacturing Facility/Machine Shop. We work primarily in raw materials including stainless steel, aluminum, bronze and plastics. Our facility offers conventional and CNC machining services to the greater Las Vegas area and beyond. With a steady growth of nearly 300% in the last few years, we find ourselves in need of a reliable candidate with extensive machine shop inspection experience. Qualified candidate should have experience with use of common inspection tools such as height gages, calipers, inside and outside micrometers, and Keyence CMM, along with working knowledge of GD&T and common inspection criteria. Ability to work quickly and concisely, as well as wear a couple of different hats, is required. You will also be tasked with assisting in document control and preparation, data entry, product identification, and maintenance of material and part certifications per customer requisites. Familiarity with ISO 9001 environment is a plus. Please understand that all of the above are requisites. If you are not familiar with machine shop inspection criteria, this would not be the job for you. Benefits available after probationary period, including profit share program.
